The Soul and Ego Out of Alignment

Out of Alignment
When the Soul and Ego are out of alignment, the life is lived in the normal format of the culture. Currently, the vast majority of souls living an earth experience live the experience when the Soul and the Ego are out of alignment. For the most of those souls, life appears to be dull and predictable in a fashion only limitation and lack can create. Dull and predictable in that limitation and lack are predictable – are the givens in a lifetime and in a life. For, without the Soul to create new and different and magical, the Ego must attach to the Soul. This limitation and lack can be both of the physical and of not the non-physical and, due to the lack of the physical, most individual who live only from the perspective of the Ego do not even realize they are not connected to the non-physical, the Divine.
The other position is one where the individual soul is living a life from the soul perspective. And, as beautiful and delightful as that may be, without the Ego to create, the individual is left in a place of lack from the perspective of the physical. And, as others who are not connected to the Divine (living from a position of Ego) see this lack, they disengage even more fully from the possibility of connecting with their Soul – for fear they will become like those only connected with their Soul.
The goal, if any individual chooses, is to find and live the balance between Soul and Ego – and to have the Ego willing and ready to accept what the Soul brings forth from the Field of All Possibilities. And in that acceptance, to agree to all that the Soul has brought forth. Scary, isn’t it.

Memorial Day Reflecting By Carol Harblin (CHHC)
by hollis on Jun.01, 2010, under Home
Memorial Day…it’s more than a day off from work…it’s also a day of reflecting and memorializing the people who have served for the country too.
People have many ways of showing their peace and reflection for someone.
We all have our ways of grieving or honoring people.
Being with family and friends on Memorial Day is a massive dose of relationships in the primary food area. Just the idea of being with our loved ones on the brink of summer makes us smile.
Having a conversation with a grandparent, parent, spouse, niece, nephew, cousin, Aunt, Uncle, and siblings can be life-changing and will stay with you for a lifetime.
These are the moments we have to embrace now with our loved ones, so that down the road we won’t have any regrets.
How full do you feel after a cook-out with family this weekend? It wasn’t just the food you were eating…you were getting fed off each other too.
What is a good thing to eat at a picnic anyway?
- fruit salad
- *salads in general, i.e. macaroni, potato, tossed, fruit, etc…
- barbeque chicken
- kabobs
- grilled vegetables
- corn on the cob
- water
- home-made lemonade
- sun tea
What are some fun family activities?
- Frisbee
- soccer
- volleyball
- kick ball
- horse shoes
- bubble blowing
- croquet
- (board games if it’s raining)
These are the days that make-up our memories for tomorrow…let’s make them good ones!!
The bunless burger option and more!!
by hollis on May.07, 2010, under Home
Summer time is approaching and we’ve already had a few cook outs and picnics.
But here’s the thing….what do you eat if you are at someone’s house for an outside party?
There is always that taboo food such as Doritos, unknown potato chips, soda, white floured buns, and pizza. What do I do? Am I going to go hungry? Probably not…but what do I eat?
If you know you are going to go to someone’s house where you know the food is going to be like that you may always eat something prior to visiting.
Among all that taboo food, there usually is something good to eat – you just have to LOOK for it. Somewhere in the middle of the tabletop there is a vegetable platter. It looks like an old friend welcoming you over.
If it is a cook out that you are invited to, that is even better. If there is only white flour buns or the non-gluten-free kind of buns, then you can opt to have the burger or whatever it is bunless!! The bunless way is catching on too. The best way to eat a burger is between two wedges of iceberg lettuce.
Bunless burgers is a healthy way to eat a burger, but let’s hope you don’t choose the KFC way.
Don’t even think about that KFC way. There is no way two pieces of KFC chicken is a healthy bunless option. It’s nice to see they attempted to think of the bunless option, but come on, look at what it is!! Do you want to hold two greasy pieces of KFC?
When done right, the bunless burger offers a non-carb option which is very good for the diabetics and the gluten-free people out there.
So when will McDonald’s and Burger King catch on and offer whole wheat buns or the bunless burger between iceberg lettuce wedges?
